OUR STORY

Edifice Consulting Engineers is a dynamic firm of engineering consultants offering consulting services in the structural and civil engineering disciplines. Professional engineers Pieter Albertse and Asger Khan established the practice in April 2003.

Asger Khan and Pieter Albertse have both enjoyed illustrious careers in the engineering consulting industry having worked for a number of years for some of the most well known consulting firms in South Africa. They are both registered as professional engineers at the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and are also registered at the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC).

Collectively they are also members of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE), the Concrete Society of Southern Africa (CSSA) and the Southern Africa Institute of Steel Construction (SAISC).

Edifice Consulting Engineers is a member of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) and their professional indemnity insurance is underwritten by Glenrand MIB.

The members of Edifice have in their individual capacities completed a number of prolific projects since 1988. These projects include Office Blocks, Residential / Apartment Blocks, Commercial / Retail, Warehouses, Wine Cellars, Shopping Centres, Prisons, Schools, Sports Stadiums, Agricultural, Industrial, Airports, Hospitals, Specialized and Design & Detail of Post-tensioned slabs. Our Quality

Edifice Consulting Engineers provides its clients with exceptional service by ensuring that their staff are equipped with state of the art hardware, the latest software, literature and reference material.

We as members of Edifice Consulting Engineers commit our organization and all its departments to the achievement, maintenance and improvement of Quality. In order to give effect to this commitment we have established a quality policy which is supported by a quality manual. This manual sets out the approaches that will be followed by way of sub-policies and procedures that are used in order for this organization to be able to manage its processes that affect quality, correctly.

The approach to quality is governed by the requirements of ISO 9001 of 2000.
